Quilt Display Chest

This display chest was commissioned by a friend of my wife who wanted something to protect and display her keepsake quilts. She chose red oak and I finished it in General Finishes Shaker Maple and three coats of the GF Enduro waterbed urethane. If you haven't tried this finish yet, I can highly recommend this top coat. I had to brush it on since I don't yet have a spray unit, but it came out great. The unit measures 29"x19"x21" high.  Straight forward frame and panel (and glass) construction. The beautiful quilts you see in the case were made by my wife who is quite an accomplished craftsperson in her own right. Thanks for looking.
