Locating various types of wood

   Hello Fred,

   I thought I'd pass on some information for anyone looking for wood to make Windsor chairs or figured wood for making other types of furniture. I found a web site called www.WoodPlanet.com If these Guy's do not have it or it can't be found, it's probably because God didn't make it. Ha! Ha! Anyway, the good thing about the site is, you register your information and let them know just what sort of wood you are looking for and they will have lumber mills and such contacting you with what they have and the prices. Their prices are not too bad either so you might just want to check it out for yourself.

   Hope you Guy's are staying warm and dry up your way. We just found out yesterday that we should expect a lot more flooding this year since they had record snows up north. The Army Corp Of Engeneers told our Mayor that the floods we will be getting this time around will make the floods of 2008 and 1993 look like a cake walk. Just what we need here, more water. I should probably quit making chairs and go into boat building. Later, Ralph
